StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking and website stats for iWeb

1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter and follow the 'Install Code' wizard to generate your StatCounter code.
2. When prompted, make sure to choose iWeb as your Blog/Web Page Editor from the drop down list.
3. Copy the StatCounter code.
4. Open iWeb.
5. Click "Show Media".
   
   
   
   
6. Click "Widgets".
   
   
   
   
7. Click the "HTML Snippet" icon.
   
   
   
   
8. Drag and drop the icon into the position on your page where you want to locate your StatCounter. When you drop the icon on your page, a text box will appear.
   
   
   
   
9. Paste the StatCounter code into the text box. Click apply.
   
   
   
   
10. Now you can close the text box by clicking the x button at the top left corner and that's it!

Your StatCounter will now begin recording visitor information and, if you chose the visible option, your counter will be visible on your iWeb page! (The image below shows a sample StatCounter.)
